I am an Assistant Professor in the Center for Advanced Control and Smart Operations (CACSO) at Nanjing University, Suzhou Campus.

Before joining Nanjing University, I was a Research Fellow in the Department of Robotics at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, working with Prof. Dimitra Panagou. From 2022 to 2023, I held a postdoctoral position at Purdue University under the supervision of Prof. Xiaonan Lu. I received my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Tongji University in 2021, advised by Prof. Jitao Sun. During my Ph.D. studies, I was a visiting Ph.D. student at the University of Notre Dame, mentored by Prof. Hai Lin, and at the University of Johannesburg, where I worked with Prof. Qing-Guo Wang and Prof. Tshilidzi Marwala, in 2019 and 2020, respectively.

My research interests are the intersection between control, optimization, machine learning and formal methods with their applications to decision making in cyber-physical systems and safety-critical systems, including robotics, power systems, and connected and autonomous vehicles. Currently, I am developing Safe and Reliable AI-Embeded Autonomy.
